"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) Heavenly Father, your word is a reminder of your forgiveness. When you died on the cross, you died for my sins; you died to allow me the chance at forgiveness and eternity with you. Lord, I confess right now that I have sinned and fallen short of your glory. God, I confess my sins to you right now (confess personal sins). And I come boldly to you now asking that you forgive me for my sins. Lord, please forgive me and lead me on the path of righteousness for your name's sake. Ephesians 4:32 is a reminder that we are called to forgive others as you have forgiven us. Lord help me not to hold grudges against others but rather to extend the same grace and mercy that you show me. Forgiveness is not for the other person; it is for me. Forgiving others allows me to draw closer to you. Lord, I understand that when I forgive, I am allowing you the opportunity to work in my life. Lord, please do a work in my today. Teach me to love, and to forgive others just as you have forgiven me. Forgiveness sets me free from the bondage of people and allows me to find liberty in you. God, please forgive me and allow me to extend that same forgiveness to others. I count it done in Jesus name. Amen.

12/4/2018 1 Comment #12DaysOfPrayer: Love (Day 2)"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love", Romans 8:38 (NLT) Father God, I thank you once again for another day. Today Lord, I take a moment to reflect on your love. Lord, you are love, and you love us. Your word is a constant reminder of your love Lord. When you died on the cross for my sins, you died because you loved me. You loved me even before I chose to love you. At times I mess us, and at times I fall short, but when I fall, your love remains the same. Romans 8:38 is a reminder that nothing can us separate from your love. God, sometimes life forces me to a place where we feel unlovable. It can lead me to a place where I think I have messed up so much that you can no longer love me. When I feel undeserving of your love, allow me to never forget that you always love me. Lord God, as your love pours out on me, allow me to take your love and pour it onto others. Let my life be an example of the love that has been bestowed upon me. Let your love shine boldly through me. God, I understand that this world needs your love and as long as I have breath in my body, I have the opportunity to let your love shine in my life. Let me be your vessel and help me to love others as you have called me to. In Jesus name, Amen. 12/2/2018 1 Comment #12DaysOfPrayer: Peace (Day 1)"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" John 14:27 (KJV) Most gracious Heavenly Father, I come before you this day. Lord I first want to thank you for waking me up this morning and giving me breath in our bodies. God in the midst of life, I find myself overwhelmed with thoughts of anxiety and overwhelm. Lord your word reminds me that when I can find rest in you, Lord you are our peace. When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher that I, Lord you are my peace. Right now, God, I lay my problems and issues at your feet and ask that in exchange for my worry that you give me your peace. When I would rather allow anxiety, doubt, and worry to rule King in my life, Lord let your peace to rest, rule and abide in me. Lord, I ask you exchange my weakness for your strength. John 14:27 reminds me that you give me peace and in you I do not have to be afraid. Lord, I pray right now that you bring calm to my overwhelmed soul and you allow your peace to rule in my heart and mind. Lord let your will be done in my life, Amen. |
