Gods Not Through With You Yet

Have you ever messed up so badly that you felt unusable by God? Have you even allowed your past mistakes to stop you from drawing closer to God? Well, if you have today's podcast is for you. Join us for today's episode, where as host Tamika Mahomes explores the story of Peter's post-resurrection encounter with Jesus. An encounter after he messed up so badly that he felt Jesus was done with him. As we unpack the text,  of John 21:1-7 we watch how Jesus response to Peters mess, and we begin to see that although Peter messed up, Jesus still had a plan for him. Through Peters story we are reminded that even through we may have messed up and fallen short, God is not through with us yet.

The Beauty In Forgiveness

When we first come to Christ, we are often taught of his forgiving nature. The truth is, the forgiveness that is given to us, is called to be given to others. The Bible says in Matthew 6:14-15: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins". While the Bible calls us to forgive others, the truth is that forgiveness does not come easy. And on today's podcast, we are talking about just that.
