It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary" Hebrews 6:19 Most gracious heavenly Father, I come before your throne of grace. Today as I reflect on Hebrews 6:19, I reflect on the hope that I can find in you. Lord, I know that it is easy to hope in the things of this world, but your word reminds me to place my hope in you. Lord, I understand that hope requires me to trust. It requires me to believe that what you said you would do and to reflect on your faithfulness. Lord, let your word and truth be the anchor to my soul. Lord teach me how to love you, and show me how to trust you. I understand that I am not in control, I relinquish my control to you. You are good; you are mighty, you are magnificent. Let my soul find hope in that truth. Whether times are good or bad, let my soul find rest in you. I know that no matter where life may take me, I can find my rest in the fact that you lead me, you guide me, and you are with me. Let my hope and trust be in you and you alone. Allow me to be steadfast and unmovable, knowing that you will do just what you said you would do. Lord you are my strength, you are my hope, you are my salvation, and I put my trust in you. Amen.
