#ThankfulThursday-Jesus

Well friends, welcome to our final installment of the #thankfulthursday series! It has been such a fantastic time to reflect on what we are thankful for. I hope this series has encouraged you to reflect on what you are thankful for and why. In life, there are many things that I am grateful for, and today I want to close with the fact that I am thankful for Jesus.

It's been quite some time since I accepted Jesus as the Savior of my life, but what I can say is there is never a day where I regret the decision that I made. Jesus has changed my life in ways that I could not imagine or think, and I can say that I am genuinely thankful for that. If I had not developed a relationship with Christ, I have no clue where I would be.

I love the reminder in Romans 8:38-39:

" For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor death, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (KJV)

When I grasped the understanding that Jesus loves me and nothing could separate me from him, I began to understand that my past does not define me, and I can walk in freedom through Christ Once I started to understand that truth my entire life.

The thing we must understand about that promise is it applies to everyone. Jesus came to save you, and nothing can separate you from his love. He is standing with open arms, ready and waiting for you to accept his love and build a relationship with him. I can promise you, that having a relationship with Jesus will forever change your life and your future. So today, I encourage you to take a chance on Jesus. If you do not know him get to know him, I promise you no time with the Savior is time wasted!
